Christian Education and Faith Formation
The Sunday school classes at St. Mark’s meet between 9:45 and 10:45 am – between our Sunday Worship Services. Whether you’re 4 or 104 years old, we have a Sunday School class for you!
For our children’s Sunday School, we use a variety of curriculum, through which the kids learn about Jesus and the Bible in new and exciting ways.
Our Confirmation class (for 6th through 8th graders) meets during Sunday School also. They have a three-year rotation schedule between Old Testament, New Testament, and Christian Witness. Eighth graders have a special class that meets once a month in which they study Luther’s Small Catechism.
Our High School class meets at the same time. They discuss Christian Witness issues relevant to their lives, centering on the aspects that relate to faith and the church.
We also have several adult classes that meet Sunday morning:

- Feb 6th-27th – Psalms (taught by Bonnie Richards)
- March 6th – April 17th – Lenten Journey Seven Wonders of the Word ( taught by Henry McKay & Bud Koiner)
- May 8th – until – 1st and 2nd Samuel ( taught by Scott Hausman)
Slice Forum (Social Issues and Current Events Discussion). We also offer several occasional special classes during the year and one adult class during the summer months.
