On Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013, St. Mark’s dedicated three new stained glass windows in our Fellowship Hall. The windows, created by local artists Ray Polasky and Alice Brown, and with the assistance of Polasky’s wife Hildie, were donated to the congregation as part of their 90^th anniversary celebration. Each window depicts a different person in the Trinity, telling the Christian story of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Volunteer for the 2013 Thrivent Build

St. Mark’s is the lead congregation for the 2013 Thrivent Builds home being built in partnership with Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity in Swannanoa. The build dates are April 23 through June 29, and volunteers are needed for many different jobs. Volunteers work Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Volunteer sign up sheets and job descriptions are available in Sign Up Central.

April 21 Felicia Lytle, the 2013 Thrivent-Lutheran Partner Family, visits St. Mark’s

April 26, 12 p.m. Wall raising in Swannanoa with 77 participants
