Share Your Time and Talents

Part of our understanding of Christian vocation and stewardship is a belief that each of us is uniquely gifted by God and that each of us, not just the professional holy, has a vocation or a calling. God has gifted each of us differently so that by working together we can build up the Body of Christ. Please consider how you might live out your church vocation and share in the ministry of St. Mark’s.

More information about the specific ministries can be found in the 2013 Time and Talents Reference Booklet. Copies are available in the narthex and in the Commons and in the pews.

Please download the 2013 Time & Talent Sign Up Sheet or pick up one of the forms at church. As you identify how you could share your time and talents, please identify whether (a) you are “currently” and want to continue volunteering or (b) you are a “new” volunteer. Also, please complete the section at the top that tells us more about you and your preferred Sunday service. Place your completed form in the baskets at the church.

Thank you for taking time to share your time and talents with your church and the world !

Trinity Stained Glass Windows

On Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013, St. Mark’s dedicated three new stained glass windows in our Fellowship Hall. The windows, created by local artists Ray Polasky and Alice Brown, and with the assistance of Polasky’s wife Hildie, were donated to the congregation as part of their 90th anniversary celebration. Each window depicts a different person in the Trinity, telling the Christian story of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Watch the video that tells more about these windows on YouTube.
